Wisconsin students are lagging behind in FAFSA applications. It's time to up our game and make sure we are helping them with this very important college access activity. Here are some fun FAFSA TikToks you can use when getting the word out!

Whole Publication, red ribbon honors: Oshkosh West Notebook Staff
Congratulations to the staff and editorial board of the Oshkosh West Index on earning Blue Ribbon honors at the Northeast Wisconsin Scholastic Press Association conference on Wednesday. Beyond the publication victory, a number of students also were recognized for excellence.Hannah Chung took home a pair of first place finishes for feature writing while Ruby Pluchinsky earned a first place award in news writing and teamed with Anika Flores for a fourth place in academic news writing. In the world of sports, Lily Fournier took first in the sports news category and her partner in crime, John Vanden Heuvel, was awarded second. Bailey Staerkel showed her range by earning a blue ribbon for review writing and a second place finish in feature writing. In column writing, Nia-Lynn Walker took a first in the humorous division, Evan Giordano took second in serious, and Max Carlin earned a third in sports. Len Kloss and Ethan Rutz co-wrote an article that took second in reviews and Addison Isely and Erin Fox finished fourth and fifth respectively in that category. Abby Furcy dominated the world of in depth reporting for her spreads, taking home first, second, and fourth place in that category. Speaking of domination, Allison Kelley finished first in editorial cartoons AND swept first, second and third place in the illustration category. In photography, Shua Thor and Claire Garton took second for the essay series category. Our website was also recognized as Cora Pizon, Hunter Willis, and Max Carlin earned a second place finish for site design Cora also took second and fourth place for features videos. I am proud and honored to work alongside you all!
