Summer School Credit Recovery

If your child needs to recover any credits required for graduation during summer school, please note that counselors will automatically sign up any students who need summer school. Summer school for credit recovery will start on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 and run through Friday, July 16, 2021. Students will be assigned to either the 8:00-10:00am session or the 10:00am-noon session. Summer school will be held at Oshkosh North High School.

If this pertains to your child, you will receive an email from the West Counseling Team with additional information regarding credit recovery during summer school during March or April at the latest. Counselors do not sign up students for summer school enrichment courses, only credit recovery. If your child plans to sign up for an enrichment course during summer school, then please follow the registration process sent out from the District Summer School Staff.

Attention Oshkosh Area School District Sophomores and Parents/Guardians:

Are you (or your student) looking for a different and exciting high school experience for next year? Are you interested in jumpstarting a career in manufacturing with an industry-leading Fortune 500 company - all while earning a regular high school diploma?

The School to Work (S2W) Program is a partnership between the Oshkosh Area School District and Oshkosh Corporation. As a two-year program, S2W provides an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to earn their high school diploma in a non-traditional environment. Each day, a rigorous academic program will be combined with developing manufacturing and employability skills in a hands-on learning environment. Students will attend class for 3 hours per day and will work for 4 hours. This is a paid experience, and each student will be under the guidance of an Oshkosh Corporation mentor.

LEARN MORE: Attend an upcoming information session - in-person or virtual options available. Current Oshkosh Area School District sophomores and their families are invited to learn more about this exciting opportunity available through the Oshkosh Area School District’s School to Work (S2W) Program. Pre-registration is required.

  • DATE(S): Tuesday, February 23 or Tuesday, March 23

  • TIME: 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

  • LOCATION: Oshkosh Corporation OR Virtual (location details or access link provided upon pre-registration)

  • SIGN UP: Due to limited seating capacity, pre-registration is required for both virtual and in-person sessions. To register, contact Taran Fischer at trfischer@defense. and state if you prefer to attend in-person or virtually. Additional access instructions will be provided once your reservation has been made.

The OASD moved the WIAA fall sports seasons to the alternative spring season.  The start dates for the alternative spring seasons are found below along with the name and email address of the head coach.  If you have not already contacted the appropriate head coach please do so ASAP so that you get on the email list for important information.  The athletic director will be using the lists provided by the coaches to email out eligibility paperwork information as we will not be holding in person meetings this spring.  Even if you have turned in paperwork in the fall the district has two updated forms that will need to be turned in:  the covid acknowledgement form and the covid waiver form.  These two forms can be found on the Oshkosh West athletics website using the following link:

Parents and students, if you have previously had covid the district requires that you follow a return to play protocol for participating in high school athletics.  This will require a student taking the OASD GRADUATED RETURN TO PLAY CHECKLIST For Positive Case of Covid-19 to a doctor to get cleared to return to athletic competition.  Please note the athlete may need to follow work with one of the high school athletic trainers on a return to play progression before getting fully cleared to begin practice for a high school sport. Please contact Brad Jodarski with any additional questions.

Please note when filling out the covid waiver form please list all activities and/or sports your child will be participating in yet this school year as if a sport or activity is not listed on a previously turned in waiver form another waiver will need to be turned in.  Finally, the covid19-return to athletics guidelines have recently been updated and the revised guidelines are available at the link referenced above.  Thanks and please contact Brad Jodarski with any questions at or 920-424-0143.
