The Oshkosh Area School District’s Annual Student Update (Enrollment) for returning K-12 students and for new 4K students will take place April 1 - September 1, 2021. Students must be enrolled by September 1. However, the sooner you complete this process, the better!
This annual enrollment process is required and secures a student’s place at school for the next school year. The process is done through the Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal and includes updating demographic and contact information. NOTE: Fees and payments for the 2021-2022 school year cannot be paid until mid-August, additional information will be provided at that time.
Instructions: CLICK HERE for step-by-Step Instructions
NOTE: This process should be completed on a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet. It is not recommended to use a cell phone.
Link: CLICK HERE to log in to your Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal and click on the “Online Registration” link (located on the bottom left side of the home screen)
NOTE: This link will be active/available as of 8 a.m. on April 1, 2021.

In-person Support: If you need in-person assistance / access to a device or internet, a Central Registration Day will be held at Oshkosh North High School on August 10, 2021. More information will be provided in the coming months.
Additional information regarding the 2021-2022 school year, including important dates, will be provided to families by their child(ren)’s school.
Thank you for choosing the Oshkosh Area School District for your student’s educational experience. We look forward to continuing to work with your family to meet your student’s individual needs and provide them with the best education possible.
Free school meals are available at one distribution time and location only. The distribution will be Wednesdays from 5 - 7 p.m. at Oshkosh West High School (main parking lot - enter on Taft Avenue and exit on Eagle Street). Those accessing free meals cannot enter the school parking lot until 4:30 p.m. to allow students and staff to safely exit the area before the distribution begins.
Free Family Food Boxes: In addition to a week’s worth of school meals, families will also be able to receive Farm to Family Food Boxes - a partnership with Feeding America - which has been extended through the month of May. LEARN MORE
DIRECTIONS: All traffic must enter Eastbound on Taft Avenue (making a right turn into the parking lot). There will only be one line to enter the parking lot. Anyone attempting to enter Westbound on Taft (making a left turn into the parking lot) will be asked to continue down to the end of the line. This is to ensure proper traffic flow and safety. No one is to enter off of Eagle Street for the meal distribution. This entrance is only to be used by students, staff and athletics accessing the parking lot.
Meal Distribution Details:
Meals will be distributed for five days at a time and will include a breakfast, lunch, and supper for each day.
Milk will be offered with all meals.
Meals are available and are free to anyone age 18 and under.
Children do not need to be present to receive free meals, a parent/guardian or sibling may pick up meals.
Children do not need to be enrolled in the Oshkosh Area School District to receive free meals.
The Social Studies department is fundraising to create a scholarship award for a student pursuing a degree in a social studies field. We hope students, former students, and parents/guardians contribute to this fund. The goal will be to reach $10,000 so we can establish a sustaining endowment. For more information, look at the Oshkosh West Social Studies Facebook Page.
Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Information
AP exams will start on May 3rd and are scheduled through May 17th. Here is the 2021 AP test information given to students. Please note that most exams are administered off site. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the exam. Students must have a signed permission slip on file in order to take the exam. Students are excused from school the entire day of their exam. Parking is free at all testing locations. If a student misses an exam due to illness or quarantine, the student will have the opportunity to make up the exam on the scheduled make up date and time. If you have any questions about AP exams, please contact me at email@example.com.
If you are looking to retake the ACT, there is another test date coming up in June. You need to log in to your ACT account (the same one that you created to take the ACT at school back in March) and then you can register for another test date: https://my.act.org/ account/signin?location=https: //my.act.org
There will not be another opportunity to take the ACT here at West, but often UW Oshkosh is listed as a testing location, so local options do exist.
IMPORTANT REMINDER! When you register to take the ACT again, you will need to upload a photo and then you will need to print your registration "ticket" to bring along with you on the date of the test. You did not need to complete those items when you took the ACT here at West, but if you are retaking the ACT, you NEED to complete those steps.
For further information on upcoming test dates, please visit: https://www.act.org/ content/act/en/products-and- services/the-act/registration. html

We will have some of our fall sports seasons overlapping with our traditional spring season in the near future. We spent a lot of time working on the details concerning how we can allow students to do both sports during the overlapping seasons. The link below will take you to a document created by a committee of head coaches with input from our athletic trainers. This document is meant to provide guidance for students, parents and coaches during the overlapping seasons. If you are a student that will be involved in two seasons at the same time this spring, please be sure to talk with your coaches now to come up with a plan. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Jodarski at firstname.lastname@example.org.
