• MySaebers Survey (This will be the 3rd time taking the survey this year) will take place on April, 21st.
  • The goal of the screener is to help identify a student’s strengths and needs in social, academic, and emotional areas. 

• Student Belonging (This is the 2nd scheduled time taking this survey this year) will take place on May 5th
  • The insights we gather will help us better understand our students’ experiences and improve our school climate, fostering a welcoming environment where every student feels safe, seen, and celebrated. 

• YRBS (Youth Risk Behavior Survey) will take place on May 12th (this was a reschedule from a previous date)
  • The YRBS covers many different areas broadly related to health and wellness. The YRBS focuses on health-related behaviors that contribute to the leading cause of death, disability, and social problems during both adolescence and adulthood.

On April 24, WIAA member schools will vote whether to allow student-athletes in Wisconsin to receive compensation for their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). In order to help student-athletes and families understand the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of this change, the Fox Valley Association has partnered with Influential Athlete, a strategic partner in NIL education, to offer an informational workshop.

The workshop will be held on Sunday, May 4 at 6 p.m. at Pickard Auditorium at Neenah Middle School. The workshop is only open to student-athletes from Fox Valley Association schools and will not be livestreamed or recorded. The workshop will not be held if WIAA member schools reject the proposed NIL legislation on April 24. It will assist student-athletes with the following:

• NIL Basics – Understand what NIL is and how to navigate it while staying compliant to protect your eligibility.
• The Power of Influence – Recognize the influence you already have and learn how to leverage it for NIL opportunities.
• Personal Branding – Understand what a personal brand is and how to build an authentic one to set you apart in the NIL space.
• Partnerships – Learn how to find and manage strategic partnerships to maximize your NIL potential in the future.

This workshop will highlight the steps student-athletes can begin to take now to best position themselves when their window of NIL opportunity opens. Preparing early will set a strong foundation for success as they move forward.

This one-hour session will conclude with a brief Q&A, providing time for attendees to ask questions and gain clarity on the topics discussed.

Student-athletes and their parents are encouraged to attend. This workshop will be an invaluable opportunity to learn how to effectively approach NIL, preparing for college athletics and beyond.

Hello Oshkosh West families,

The student council is hosting a blood drive for Oshkosh West students on Friday, April 25th. Pizza, doughnuts, juice and assorted snacks will be available for donors. 

 Here are a couple of reminders to help students have a successful donation. 

• Drink more water than usual in the days leading up to your donation.
• Eat a good breakfast and lunch on the day of your donation.
• Get a good night's sleep the day before your donation.
• If you are 16, bring your permission slip with you.
• Bring your school I.D. or Drivers license. 
• If it is okay with the teacher, try to leave class 10-15 minutes before your blood donation.  
• Students are responsible to turn in all of their work and make up for any missed classroom activities. 
• Donations will be taking place in front of the main gym.
• Students must sign in and out at the registration table.

Current sophomores have the exciting opportunity to apply to be selected as part of the Youth Leadership Oshkosh (YLO) experience during their junior year. The purpose of Youth Leadership Oshkosh (YLO) is to identify and develop student leaders from various area high schools by familiarizing them with community issues, resources, and organizations!

The Oshkosh Area School District’s Annual Student Update (Enrollment/Registration) for returning K-12 students and for new 4K students will take place April 1 - September 1, 2025. Students must be enrolled by September 1. While the deadline is September 1, we encourage you to complete this process as soon as possible to secure your child's spot for the next school year.

Your child’s school for the 2025-2026 school year will be listed in IC. If you have recently moved or if you were involuntarily transferred due to space limitations at your home school, please be sure to check this as it may be different from where your child is currently attending. 

This annual enrollment process is mandatory, and your student's place at their school will be reserved for the upcoming academic year. You'll update your demographic and contact information through the Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal.

This program is designed for aspiring artists who are eager to develop their artistic skills and learn about potential careers in the arts.

The Oshkosh Recreation Department is hiring Lifeguards for the summer season.  Must be at least 15 years of age. Rate of pay is $17.75/hour.

The OASD Maintenance Department is currently looking for individuals who are interested in working on our summer team. We will be hiring the following positions:

• Mow Team Member - Two total positions
  • Running a zero turn mower and trimming
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must be at least 18 years old

• Assistant Groundskeeper/Landscaper - Two total positions
  • Haul wood chips, plantings, weeding, fill holes, trim work, etc.
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Preferably at least 18 years old, but other applicants will be considered

• Painter's Assistant
  • Help with painting and wall repairs
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Preferably at least 18 years old, but other applicants will be considered

• We offer 40 hours a week, no nights, and no weekends.
