Newsletter Week of November 18
Jade Hendricks, grade 9
November 21 and 22 we'll have one hour W hour class periods so the Marching Band can practice for the upcoming Holiday parades.
Global Academy Level 3 students, Culinary 1 students, and students from the IDMS program are collaborating to plan and create a Global Gathering feast happening during 4A lunch next week Tuesday, November 22nd. Students will find recipes from cultural dishes around the world that they will collaborate to prep, prepare, and share next week. The ingredients for the dishes are being funded through the first annual Integrated CTE grant awarded to Ms. Badtke and Sra. Olivares. Ms. Badtke plans to purchase the majority of the ingredients needed for the feast through the Oshkosh Food Co-op and representatives from the Co-op will be invited to partake in the meal next Tuesday as well. With around 100 total people participating in the event, we are looking forward to meaningful collaboration, tasty dishes, and a fun experience at the Global Gathering 2022!

Hello West Families!
We will be hosting our first parent panel on December 12th at 6:30PM via google meet. This will be open to any current families with students attending Oshkosh West. This forum will be a time to ask any questions that you may have regarding academics (scheduling), clubs, activities, sports, programs, and anything else you may think of! The panel will consist of parents/guardians of students at Oshkosh West spanning a wide variety of grade levels and involvement in school activities and programs. There will be teachers present for questions regarding specific classes and activities/clubs and guidance counselors for any academic planning. We are sending this in advance to make sure we answer as many questions as possible during the panel, please use this form to submit your questions. Notes will also be taken during the meeting to refer back to by any parents/guardians who have more questions arise after the meeting or are not able to attend. The google meet link will come closer to the date, so please watch the newsletter! We appreciate your participation and hope to see you all at the parent panel!
